Meet Dr. Kristina Javier — a trusted pediatrician with nearly 15 years of experience caring for Orlando-area families.

Dr. Javier graduated summa cum laude from Marymount College (now Fordham University) before earning her medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. She completed her pediatric residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, where she developed a passion for personalized patient care. 

For Dr. Javier, pediatrics has always been a calling. She loves partnering with children, teens, and their families—guiding them through everything from newborn questions to adolescent challenges. She is known for her calm, empathetic presence, her ability to explain complex topics clearly, and her dedication to meeting families exactly where they are.

Dr. Javier is fluent in Spanish and enjoys caring for Orlando’s diverse community. Before joining Zest Pediatrics, she spent more than a decade practicing at Tree House Pediatrics and later served as a general pediatrician and clinical guide for Blueberry Pediatrics. She is experienced in helping families navigate complex healthcare systems and providing thoughtful support for issues like asthma, childhood obesity, adolescent health, and mental-emotional wellbeing. 

She was drawn to Zest because it allows her to practice “the way pediatrics is meant to be”—personal, unrushed, relationship-based care without the barriers and time pressures of an insurance-driven system. At Zest Pediatrics of Southeast Orlando, families always see Dr. Javier, communicate directly with her, and receive the time and attention every child deserves.

Outside the office, Dr. Javier loves volunteering with the local Girl Scouts’ troop, recreating traditional home-cooked recipes with a healthy twist, listening to Latin music, and spending time outdoors.
